Terms & Conditions


Welcome to the Sweet Stems Floral online store! Listed below are the terms and conditions you agree to when placing an order online.

CURRENCY
All prices are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and include Goods and Services Tax (GST) of 15%.

MESSAGE DETAILS
It is essential that all information provided for delivery is correct, down to spelling of all names and addresses and messages to be sent with the flowers. I will deliver to the address provided by you at checkout. NO responsibility will be taken for wrong information provided. 24 hours notice is required for any delivery changes to avoid incurring charges.

DELIVERY
If the recipient is not home or at their place or work when the delivery takes place the flowers will be left on the doorstep out of the sun if possible or with office staff. Delivery is unavailable on Sunday's (with the exception of Mother's Day and/or Valentines Day) and Public Holidays. If an order is placed to be delivered on a Sunday or Public Holiday your delivery will be done before or after the selected date. If your order cannot be delivered on the specific day due to circumstances out of my control they will be delivered the next day possible. If you select the PICK UP option you will be contacted to advise where to meet. If you require delivery outside of any of the listed area's please use the contact page to discuss delivery options that may be available.

PEAK TRADING DAYS
When Valentine's Day falls on the weekend, or on Mothers Day (second Sunday of May), I hold the right to send your order a day or two early before the chosen delivery date to ensure your gift arrangement arrives before the special day rather than after. This is due to peak demand over these days.

CANCELLING AN ORDER
If you wish to cancel an order once it has been made, I am happy to offer a refund if notified 24 hours before delivery is due to take place. A refund cannot be given if the flowers are already in transit. This order cancellation condition applies to online orders not Weddings.

WEDDING FLOWERS
A non refundable 50% deposit is required four (4) months out from the date of the wedding. The remaining balance is due fourteen (14) days before the wedding.

PRIVACY
All information provided will remain private and confidential.

PAYMENT
STRIPE is the payment platform used to complete online purchases. You can see their privacy and terms here - https://stripe.com/nz/privacy For large deposits or special orders (such as Weddings) the bank account number will be provided.

RETURNS POLICY
Fresh flowers are perishable and cannot be exchanged or refunded however if you are not happy with your fresh flowers please contact me within 24 hours of receipt of the product so we can discuss this.
